The Botanical Detox Masque is formulated to create a total cell detox to balance, restore and purify the skin. This masque features many organic ingredients, including mineral and antioxidant-rich organic rooibos and green tea and an array of all-natural botanical flowers – chamomile, passion fruit, calendula, jasmine and Bulgarian rose. Organic oils – olive, jojoba, soybean and rosemary balance and restore impaired skin. Activated charcoal has been shown to absorb unwanted toxins; in fact, it is commonly used in medicine to absorb toxins and poisons in case of drug overdose or poisoning. It is made by heating common charcoal in the presence of a gas that causes the charcoal to develop internal spaces, or “pores”.
