First-time use
• Remove the cap from the HLC and gently pull the curler head apart from the lower base.
• Insert the AAA battery (positive end down) and reattach the curler head to the base.
• Switch on. Wait 40-60 seconds. Test the heat on the back of your hand.

Everyday use
• Switch on the curler.
• Apply mascara while your HLC heats up (approximately 40 to 60 seconds).
• Place the comb side at the base of the upper lashes, roll towards your eyelid, and hold for 10 seconds.
• After 10 seconds, brush the comb from root to tip. Repeat 2 to 3 times until you've achieved the desired curl.
• Switch off and let the HLC cool for 30 seconds. Clean with sanitizing cloth as needed.
