The formula is a true bi-phase serum, requiring a gentle shake before each use to blend the two phases, each optimized for its own set of actives. Apricot kernel oil provides lightweight nourishment and comfort. Gardenia extract, a symbol of purity within Yon-Ka's phyto-aromatic heritage, imparts a soft natural tint and leaves skin fresh and soothed. Pink peppercorn essential oil brings a refined, delicately spicy olfactory signature alongside antioxidant benefits. 99.8% of ingredients are of natural origin.

Because the formula works across both the epidermis and dermis simultaneously, pairing it with a hydrating moisturizer rather than a heavy occlusive gives the actives the best environment to penetrate and work without being blocked. If you are new to retinol-like formulas, start with evening use only for the first two weeks, then move to daily use once your skin confirms it is comfortable. The bi-phase format means shaking before every application is essential, not optional, as the two phases are formulated to work together.
