A rich, fast-absorbing 1% Retinyl Acetate cream that boosts cell turnover, repairs visible sun damage, and improves the appearance of rough, dull, or aging skin.
Standard retinol products are standalone treatments. The Circadia Vitamin A Boosting Cream is formulated to do something different: amplify and extend the results of an existing Vitamin A routine by targeting the areas where standard products aren't delivering the improvement you're after. At 1% Retinyl Acetate, with Vitamin E in two forms to stabilize and protect the skin during cell turnover, it's a targeted accelerant for dull, rough, sun-damaged, or heavily keratinized skin.
Expanded Description
Vitamin A is the most studied and clinically validated topical ingredient for accelerating cell turnover, reducing the visible signs of UV damage, smoothing rough or uneven texture, and improving the long-term appearance of aging skin. The challenge with most consumer retinoid products is that they're formulated to be universal, which means they're also formulated to be conservative. The Circadia Vitamin A Boosting Cream is designed to push results further.
Retinyl Acetate is a form of Vitamin A ester, one step removed from retinol in the conversion pathway to retinoic acid. Like retinol, it must be converted in the skin to its active form, but its molecular structure makes it somewhat more lipophilic than retinol itself, giving it affinity for the lipid-rich outer layers of the skin where surface texture irregularities originate. At 1%, it delivers a meaningful concentration designed to produce visible improvement in targeted areas.
The formula includes Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E ester) and Tocopherol (natural Vitamin E) together, a combination that provides dual antioxidant protection. During the cell turnover process initiated by retinoids, the skin's barrier can become temporarily more permeable and more vulnerable to free radical damage. The dual Vitamin E inclusion specifically addresses that vulnerability, providing stability during the accelerated renewal cycle.
The cream base is lightweight and fast-absorbing despite its richness, formulated with Hydrogenated Polyisobutene for a non-greasy emollient feel and Polyacrylamide for a smooth, skin-like texture. Peanut oil is present in the formula as an emollient component.
Note: This product should not be used on the same night as AHAs, BHAs, or Vitamin C unless directed by a skincare professional. Start with 3 nights per week and gradually increase to nightly use as skin acclimates. Avoid use during pregnancy without medical guidance.

How To Use
• Use in the PM routine only, after cleansing.
• Apply a small amount to desired areas on face and neck.
• Allow to absorb before applying any additional PM products.
• Begin with 3 nights per week to assess tolerance. Gradually increase to 5-7 nights per week as skin adapts.
• Do not use on the same evening as AHAs, BHAs, or strong Vitamin C actives.
• Always use SPF the following morning. Retinoids increase photosensitivity.
• If flaking or irritation occurs, reduce frequency.

Pro Tip
Apply to specific problem areas (forehead lines, rough cheek texture, sun spots) rather than all over the face, and use it in rotation with your regular retinol rather than in addition to it. Combining two vitamin A products on the same night is not more effective and significantly increases irritation risk.
